Our recommendation
Pillars of Eternity is an RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment and is the predecessor to Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. The game is set in the forests of Dyrwood, where a group of fanatical scientists is using people’s souls for nefarious means. You are the Watcher, a being able to read people’s memories, and you will be tasked with getting to the root of the truth in Dyrwood and resolve the matter for better or worse.
The game is played from an isometric perspective. You create a character and are put into the story, told mostly by many dialogues, which allows for a lot of story and worldbuilding. Your dialogue choices do have an impact on the story. The combat can be paused at any time, where you choose your follower's abilities and engage in combat once again. Your character can be specialized in many different classes, many of these usual and some unusual.
If you like worldbuilding, dialogue, and story, and don't mind the older graphics or the slow, deliberate pace of the game, you're going to love Pillars of Eternity. Its world is big, richly detailed and believable, and many of the characters you meet in the game have interesting stories to tell. It is not a game with a to-do list, the focus is very much on exploring the world and finding the many stories lurking there.
The White March Part I is a story expansion that will take you roughly about 10 hours to finish. It centers around the region of The White March, where dwarven holds need to awaken the forges to protect themselves from an old foe. It also raises the level cap, adds new areas to explore, new companions, multi-class talents and more.
The White March Part II is a continuation of Part I, with about the same length of the story. It is set after the player awakens the White Forge, and drags the player into the intrigues of the gods, on a hunt to destroy the Eyeless. It also raises the level cap, improves the strongholds, adds a new barbarian companion, and many quality-of-life changes.
The Royal Edition Upgrade Pack includes the full soundtrack, a digital campaign walkthrough, a digital hi-res map of the game world, a "Making of" documentary, a set of wallpapers, a novella, Collector's book pdf, and a digital strategy guide.

Key resellers are sites that sell game keys at (usually) much lower prices than traditional retailers. They do this through a combination of ways, like selling keys that come in a bundle, that were on a sale and many other ways.
The reason why we separated them from traditional retailers is that these stores have been the subject of a divisive discussion for a long time.
The reason we include them is that you can buy keys on these sites usually for very big discounts, sometimes quite ridiculously cheap. In 99 % of cases, they will work the same as a much more expensive key would. For many people, especially people from countries with lower standards of living, this can mean big savings that have a significant impact on their life, while also playing the game and not resorting to piracy.
If you are buying on these stores, we have a few recommendations to follow:
